Dave has spent over 25 years in cybersecurity, following a career in the civil service where he held roles in finance and human resources. He has held leadership positions at top cybersecurity firms, including Sophos as General Manager for the UK, and VP Europe roles at U.S. and Israeli startups CipherTrust, Proofpoint, and Imperva. Most recently, he co-founded GrillaTech, a cyber security professional services organisation. Beyond his executive experience, Dave is passionate about education and awareness, regularly speaking at events for Regional Organised Crime Units (ROCU) and the Cyber Security Challenge UK and is involved with Tech Channel Ambassadors who raise awareness of career opportunities across the channel to those in education. He also brings his expertise to younger audiences, co-authoring children's books on cybersecurity with Sandrijn Stead.
