Ian Glover
Ian Glover has devoted over 40 years to the IT and information security industry. As President of CREST, the international not-for-profit accreditation and certification body, he helped set professional standards and address the cyber skills gap by collaborating with government, academia and industry to attract top talent and establish clear career paths.
While president of CREST, Ian also played a key role in launching initiatives like Cyber Essentials and CBEST, a framework enhancing the resilience of financial institutions through intelligence-led testing.
His commitment to inclusivity and diversity is clear from his work with the National Crime Agency to divert young people from cybercrime and with organisations like IAAC and the National Autism Society to support neurodiversity in cyber security. He has also collaborated with the government on various initiatives that promote careers in cyber such as Inspired Careers and Digital Defenders.
Ian continues to give back through his impactful talks on careers and ethics, supporting various organisations and inspiring the next generation of cyber professionals.
