With over 40 years of experience in the computer industry, Matthew Bell has built a distinguished career that spans across both the SME and corporate sectors. As well as being the founder of the Cyber Protection Group, Matthew leads Bell ICT Limited, a company known for its dynamic team of professionals and its extensive range of services, from the supply, installation and support of computer networks to data protection services. Working with Cyber Protection Group, Matthew has forged a unique On-Line Solution in partnership with leading- and cutting-edge cyber protection organisations in the world drawing on over 250 years of intelligence agencies and special forces experience.

Throughout his career, Matthew has seen and successfully delivered significant technological advancements. His expertise includes providing Cyber Essentials Certification, ensuring that clients' IT infrastructures are equipped with the necessary technical controls for robust security.

Before establishing Bell ICT Limited, Matthew held various senior positions, including overseeing computer and telephone systems communications at BSB (now BskyB) for five years. He also spent 15 years at the International Petroleum Exchange, managing IT technical services as Vice President of Technical Services, overseeing a £5m budget with over 25 IT staff.
Matthew’s educational background reflects his strong foundation in both technology and business. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Mobile Computer Systems, and a Professional Certificate in Management (MBA). In addition, he has earned certifications including CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCSE, MCSA, and MCP, as well as diplomas from the Association of Business Studies (ABE) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

Matthew is a member of various professional bodies and sits on various boards including Redbridge Chamber of Commerce, Chigwell Business Network Group, Redbridge Sports and Leisure Complex.

Matthew’s extensive experience in the world of Cyber Security and protection has led him to carry out presentations for HSBC Bank Customers, Redbridge Chambers of Commerce, London Business School of Management, Federation of Small Businesses, Hainault Business Park, Havering Chambers of Commerce and East London City Gates Conference Centre.
Matthew was invited by The London Chamber of Commerce and Industry to represent British Technology at the Dubai Business Forum UK.
