Simon is an associate (barrister) in the dispute resolution team at Womble Bond Dickinson (UK) LLP, specialising in contentious data protection and cyber security matters. He has particular expertise in providing advice and support to clients who suffer personal data breaches, and acting in relation to related regulatory investigations and enforcement action.

Simon has acted in relation to the following notable matters:
 Ransomware attack affecting a telecommunications business. Advising in relation to incident response and related regulatory investigations;
 Ransomware attack impacting major sports club including match day IT infrastructure. Advising in relation to incident response and related regulatory investigations;
 Large-scale business email compromise affecting a global insurer. Advising in relation to global incident response strategy and related regulatory investigations and litigation;
 ICO enforcement proceedings concerning a telecommunication business's electronic marketing practices and PECR compliance. Providing representation and advice;
 Malware attack affecting a global online retailer. Advising in relation to EU and UK incident response and related regulatory investigations.
